The heart behind Jars of Joie
Hi, I'm Alicia — maker, dreamer, and the person who genuinely believes a small jar of joy can change your whole day.
I grew up believing that small gestures matter more than grand ones. A handwritten note. A wildflower picked on a walk. A piece of jewelry that catches the light just right and makes you feel, for a moment, like the most beautiful version of yourself.
I live and create on the coast of Half Moon Bay, California — where the ocean fog rolls in every morning and the light in the afternoon turns everything golden. That light is in every piece I make.
Jars of Joie started because I genuinely care about people. Not in a surface-level way — in the way that I think about the person who is going to open this jar, who is going to wear this necklace, who needs something that says I see you, I'm rooting for you, you are worthy of good things.
Every affirmation card I write, every bead I string, every jar I fill — it's done with that person in mind. Someone who is going through something. Someone who needs to be reminded of how beautiful they are. Someone who deserves a moment of pure, uncomplicated joy.

Alicia leads every workshop personally. She brings the materials, the affirmation cards, the joy, and her whole heart. All you bring is yourself — and whoever you want to share the experience with.
